Mount Olive Area Chamber's Record-Setting
Annual Food Drive Will Help Feed Families

With many families facing bleak economic conditions, this year's Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce Food Drive was more important than ever.

Thanks to an amazing outpouring of support this year, Chamber's 17th Annual Fall Food Drive was by far its most successful ever!

The chamber drive this year collected over 4000 pounds of food and nearly $3,300 in monetary and gift card donations. Indeed, the amount of food collected through this drive has steadily increased over the past several years. In 2005, for example, the organization collected just 820 pounds of food.

"The community has rallied around the food drive and the Chamber is proud to coordinate the effort," said Chamber president Jeff Stadelman. "Folks realize that our neighbors and friends are being affected and they need our help."

Participating businesses and organizations that either collected food or donations this year were Axis ATM, Rockefeller Development Group Corporation, Patriot Bankcard, Goddard School, Northern Hills Physical Therapy, Dr. John Berezny Chiropractic (who started the drive), Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, Paragon Village, Valley National Bank, Elite Business Funding , Bob Scirocco, Esq., High Risk Merchants, Wuff 'N Purr Inn, NJ Mortgage Loans,The Wine Rack, PNC Bank - Flanders, GBW Insurance, Nisivoccia Consulting, Nisivoccia & Company, Warren Distributing, Nursery School at St. Dunstans, and Veolia Environmental Services

Stadelman declared, "Our most sincere thanks to everyone involved!"
